We are a non-profit organization founded in 1980 to promote sport diving in the Madison area. We organize numerous dive trips locally, state wide, and nationally. These include night dives, muck dives, ice dives, and wreck dives. The club promotes safe diving through the support of the Divers Alert Network (DAN), by providing an oxygen equipped First Aid kit on club dives and by supplying ice diving equipment on winter dives.

The Sea Sabres’ were started in 1953. This makes us the oldest SCUBA diving club in the United States of America. Our name comes from Sabre Jet fighter built for the Korean war by North American Aviation. Our charter members were many of the people who built and engineered the aircraft. Having been around for so long means we have discovered all the good dive boats and dive sites.

Sea Sons Dive Club was formed as the San Bernardino county search and rescue team in 1955 [we believe we are the oldest active club in existence], originally all were die hard hunters but through the years have mellowed into divers who love to go diving.
